Free Health Care Clinics in High Demand
With the recent information reported in the Dallas Morning News, it shows without a doubt, that healthcare clinics, like Julia’s Center, serve an ever growing need to provide healthcare services to people without health insurance and who cannot afford to pay. Julia’s Center is now 3! And, what a huge year it has been. We now have a permanent location in Plano with exam rooms and permanent equipment. We can always use more volunteers!
As you know because we pay no salaries and rely exclusively on the volunteers we were able to provide healthcare to our neighbors who otherwise would be without it. A total of 70 volunteers, ranging from physicians to translators and even architects, made this possible. Our volunteers accumulated a total of 8,059 hours of service.
